Scott Lee Peterson, born October 24, 1972, is an American convicted murderer. He was found guilty in 2004 of killing his pregnant wife Laci, in the first degree and their unborn son, Conner, in the second degree in Modesto, California. Peterson received a death by lethal injection verdict in 2005 but was appealed to the California Supreme Court.

Early Life and Education
Scott Lee Peterson, best known by his stage as Scott Peterson, was born to the family of Lee Arthur Peterson and Jacqueline “Jackie” Helen Latham, at Sharp Coronado Hospital in San Diego, California.
Scott’s mother, Linda Peterson, ran The Put On in La Jolla, while his father, Lee Arthur Peterson, had a crate-packaging business.
Lee Arthur and Jacqueline Helen Latham only had one child together, however they both had children from previous unions.
One of Scott’s half-brothers, John used to live in the same house as him.
Scott enjoyed playing golf, and his father was always willing to give him advice on how to do so.
He had already surpassed him at the age of fourteen. He looked up to Phil Mickelson as a golfing hero and as a role model.
Scott Peterson attended University of San Diego High School, where Phil Mickelson inspired him to pursue a career in professional golf.

In an effort to get away from the guys who raised him in California’s San Diego, he made the decision to try his luck in business.
He was fortunate to become a prosperous retailer salesman because he would make a respectable sum of money from the sales.
He was making about $5,000 from his employment at the time his wife’s interaction with the police was reported.
Prior to being admitted to everyone, he wrecked his life and lost his job.
He was the first to disclose the appearance of his pregnant wife, however it was noticed that he did so to hide his conduct.
People believed him when he told them what happened, and they felt sympathy for him because his wife had died just before they were due with their first child.
Further inquiry, however, revealed that he was the perpetrator and not the victim.
He was found guilty of killing his wife and unborn child and given a fatal injection death sentence.
