Early Life and Education
Born Nadia Aboul-Hosn on September 13, 1988 (age 33) in Orlando, Florida, she is a fashion blogger. The curvy American fashion model and blogger has always been passionate about fashion right from when she was a teenager.
She also adored dressing up and taking photos – it was an outlet that made her feel good and as a way to express herself.
Aboulhosn’s journey in blogging and modelling began in 2010 when Seventeen Magazine reached out to see if she was interested in being part of a curvy section photo shoot. She just got a $400 plane ticket to New York later, and the rest is history.
Nadia has a sister by name, Alya Aboulhosn.

Before starting her modeling and blogging career, she used to work at a family-run restaurant at a local mall’s food court.
She also makes money by advertising and promoting clothing through modeling. Nadia advocates for the body positivity movement and self-acceptance. Her blog includes not only fashion but also features a humanitarian section.
In August 2014, Nadia participated as a panelist for Create and Cultivate conference in Chicago for women entrepreneurs in the digital space.

Her first modeling shoot was with Seventeen magazine for a curvy section shortly after she won American Apparel’s model search.

Her design featured a 14-piece collection for women sized 12–24 and was described as “minimalistic,” “military” and “comfortable.”
Her line for Love & Legend was sold exclusively at Lord & Taylor. She was named the face of boohoo.com and took a partnership where she was also able to release her own collection which did really well.

Personal Life
Nadia is a believer that “fashion is fashion.” When she first began blogging, Aboulhosn did not want to be labeled as “plus-size,” feeling the term boxes individuals into one category.
“I feel plus-size is a way to divide people. I don’t want anyone to feel like an outcast. The whole point of dressing up is to feel good about yourself and I don’t like that separation because everybody wants to feel good in what they wear and in their skin,”
She continues. “I don’t want to be known as a plus-size model, I just want to be known as a model or a designer. It sucks getting pinned into one thing and not being able to branch out to other people.”
Nadia Aboulhsn got engaged to her fiancé, Senor Amado in May 2022. Both designed their rings together with Jonne Amaya.
