Early Life and Education
Makubalo was born on 15 March 1989 in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth. During his childhood, he relocated to Johannesburg with his mother, Nomvula.

He attended Edenvale High School, where he earned a sports bursary and was active in various sports including soccer, rugby, athletics, and cricket.
After completing high school, he pursued studies in presenting and acting at Talent International, where he also offered mentorship roles. In 2009, he advanced his education by studying contemporary music at Damelin in Bramley.

Makubalo’s music journey started with Baainar Records, where he was introduced through a friend. He released several singles like “Ndiyindoda,” “Move,” “Ntombi Ethandwayo,” “Crazy,” and “Qina.”
In 2015, he joined Afrotainment and launched his debut album titled Born to Entertain on 31 October 2016, which included 14 tracks featuring hits such as “What Have You Done,” “Children,” “Miss Me,” and “Give and Take My Piano.”
He later released singles like “Ndakwenza Ntoni” in 2019 and collaborated with Mobi Dixon on “Camagu” in 2020.
