Meagan Good was born Meagan Monique Good on August 8, 1981, in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California, to LAPD officer Leondis “Leon” Good and Tyra Wardlow-Doyle. She was raised in Canyon Country, California, with a brother and two sisters, La’Myia Good and Lexus Good.
She began her acting career when she was four years old. She began her career as an extra on television shows such as ‘Doogie Howser,’ ‘M.D.,’ and ‘Amen,’ among others.
She was cast in her first feature film, the 1995 hit ‘Friday,’ when she was 13 years old. Her mother was her manager during her adolescence.
She appeared in single episodes of several TV dramas as a teen artist, including ‘ABC Afterschool Special’ (1996), ‘Pacific Blue’ (1997), ‘Touched by an Angel’ (1997), and ‘The Parent ‘Hood’ (1997). (1997-98).
