Lawrence Oyor was born on June 16, 1991, into a Christian family in Ibadan, the capital of the Yoruba-dominated Oyo state in western Nigeria.
He was born as a twin into a family of four, both of his parents being clerics. His father is the late Rev. Dr. Gomba Fortune Oyor.
He attended Shalom Christian College in Ibadan for secondary school after completing his basic education.
