Babes Wodumo was born Bongekile Simelane in Kwa-Zulu Natal on July 26, 1994. She is currently 28 years old as at July 2022. Her parents were never supportive of her desire to work in the entertainment industry when she was younger.
They wanted her to become a social worker because she was also interested in assisting people in society, particularly the elderly.
