Uzor was born on February 15 in Lagos State, Nigeria, and hails from Abia State. She completed her primary and secondary education in Lagos before earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics Education from Abia State University.

Uzor Osimkpa began her career on stage in 2000, performing in numerous theatrical productions such as Oluronbi – The Musical and Rubiewe, an African adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.
