Popular Nigerian Singer, Waje covers TUSH magazine’s latest issue and talks about his latest album.
Waje dressed in a spotless pale pink leather jacket and pants. She also wore a red velvet ensemble, matching the title of her sophomore album, Red Velvet.
She talks about her reinvention, versatility, her journey to discovering and doing more, as well as the decisions that led to the release of the Red Velvet album.
The versatile singer further revealed how she abandoned a completed album and started working on Red Velvet because she was drawn in by the story line.
According to Waje, Red velvet album is about a lover who has experienced love in different phases.
After Waje covers TUSH magazine, she also talks about competition in the industry, she said,
“We’ve just been told this lie that we are all competitors. Competition is great but it can be healthy. Competition is important but it can be healthy”.
