Zinedine Zidane set to return as Real Madrid new manager

Former Real Madrid player and manager, Zinedine Zidane set to return as Real Madrid manager.

The Frenchman left Real last summer after leading the club to three successive Champions League titles.

According to reports, Zidane will replace underperforming Santiago Solari, who is the club current manager.

After a surprise 4-1 home loss to Ajax in the Champions League, Real fans staged a protest outside the Bernabeu asking for Solari to be sacked and for Jose Mourinho to replace him.

According to report, Former president Ramon Calderon told Sky Sports News last week that Mourinho was the first choice to take over and was approached by the club, but Zidane looks set to return.

In 2016, Zidane became Real manager after a spell in charge of the B team, and he became the first coach to win the Champions League in three straight seasons.
