A village in Akwa Ibom state has been flooded with water as the residents battle for survival.
The people of Emere-oke, Eastern Obolo Local government area of Akwa Ibom state witnesses tragedy as flood take over the area.
According to reports, the flood was caused by heavy rainfall on Saturday 19 September.
The residents of the rural area voice their concerns on social media, calling on the government to come to their aid as the situation worsens.
One of the residents of the affected village who is identified as Blessing Itama, wrote on Facebook:
“It may be happy sunday to you, it may be anything to you but for us in Emere-oke is a flood sunday, been sincere to yourself, if it is your community will you be happy?,
