South African Government through the President, Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the Head of the country’s Economic Advisory Council, observerstimes reports.

Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala took to Twitter to share a picture showing herself with the South African President, and members of the Presidential economic advisory Council in Pretoria discussing sources of growth for the South African economy.

She wrote:

With President Ramaphosa, members of cabinet, and members of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council in Pretoria discussing sources of growth for the South African economy and win-win economic interactions with the continent.
