Mark Zuckerberg reveals he wants Facebook to become a “privacy-focused” platform.
After months of data breaches, privacy scandals and controversial policy decisions the Facebook founder said he wants Facebook to be more secured.
Facebook CEO, Mark Zukerberg Zuckerberg said on his Facebook page it would be less of “the digital equivalent of a town square” because “people increasingly also want to connect privately in the digital equivalent of the living room.”
Facebook is shifting to become “a privacy-focused messaging and social networking platform,”
“People should be comfortable being themselves,” Zuckerberg wrote, “and should not have to worry about what they share coming back to hurt them later.
