Senate President, Bukola Saraki has officially dumped the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
He announced his decision to leave the party a few minute ago through a tweet from his verified handle which reads, ‘I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC)’.
Saraki however didn’t reveal which party he’s headed.
Kwara State governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, has also dumped the APC.
Announcing his defection from APC to PDP, the governor tweeted; ‘following consultations and in response to calls by major stakeholders in the state, I have moved to the PDP as APC can no longer serve as a platform for achieving the aspirations and expectations of my people’.
